Exhibition Time on Flickr.
I’ll be exhibiting 4 of my works in London next week at the Brick Lane Gallery
I’m soooo excited about this. The prints I made are of an amazing quality and you should definatly come over and have a look during the two weeks they are in London. If you’re interested to meet me there, I’ll be at the private viewing, so send me a message if you want to pop by.
There’s also a meetup on this Sunday with me and Benjamin Von Wong, hosted by Train to Create
it’s a free admission and there will be lots of creatives running around!!
Hope to see you there

I’ve been overly busy lately, all good stuff. My studio is finally almost finished, but haven’t had the time to really shoot in it yet, also because it’s quite cold in there.
I’ve also joined forces with my good friend Jeroen, who started an agency to promote artists like me. So I’m officially represented by an agent. You can find more information on the agency at www.draumlist.com
Having a promoter/agent has sped up things for me.
I’m about to have an exhibition in London next month at the Brick Lane Gallery, from March 28th through April 6th.
I’m also busy setting up an exhibition with other artist with whom I share the studio spaces.
I’m still busy doing album art, doing some fashion retouching.
And I’ve just been featured over at DIY Photography with a written photoshop tutorial
all good stuff, and hopefully more to follow. I’m great full for all this, and would also love to thank everyone here on Flickr where this wonderful journey started so many years ago.

I found and bought this mask last Saturday at www.maskshopvenice.com. I walked past their shop and just had to peek inside and I fel in love with the masks, and just had to have one.
Figuring out a good photo for it was a bit harder, but I’m very glad with the result.

so my workshop today went up in flames, due to a low interest I had to cancel it. It’s a shame since now nobody has learnt how to set me on fire like this. I’m hoping that my London workshop will gather a bit more interest, but it doesn’t look too good at the moment. I do wonder what the main reason would be, so I can cater better to the needs.
I’m putting up a survey, which I will post online soon.
Even though I didn’t get to give the workshop, I did get to play in the studio with the amazing Richard Terborg and do an awesome shoot with my buddy Teije, images will follow soon.

experimenting with this open skin and folds some more. I’m usually not a big fan of overusing dodge and burns, but it really helps on these images, it all feels a bit more painterly.
I’m eagerly hoping people will sign up for my workshop this week and next month. I can really really use some more people on both workshops.
Hellboy on Flickr.
When I saw this shot I just immediately thought Hellboy, so I just had to make this happen with only 28 layers of Photoshop in 2 hours time ;-)
If you would like to learn how I made this image and others do join me on my Dutch or London workshop. I still have plenty of seats available and the learning curve isn’t that steep. Anyone can join.
